What a fun and busy week at Burnt River! Our Fall Carnival was such a great reminder of what makes our little school and community so special. It was wonderful to see our students, families, staff, and community members come together for an evening of fun, laughter, and making memories!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the carnival such a success! From planning and preparing to decorating, organizing activities, and cleaning up afterward, it truly takes a team to pull off events like this. I am so appreciative of the time, energy, and willingness of so many people to jump in and help wherever needed. That's one of the things I love most about our little school. When everyone pitches in, we can make some pretty great things happen for our kids!
As we head into the weekend, don't forget that the time changes on Sunday! While we may enjoy that extra hour of sleep, we all know that a change in routine can throw things off a little, especially for our kids. We may see some extra tiredness, big emotions, or a little difficulty settling back into our normal routines. Let's remember to offer a little extra patience and grace to one another while also working to get back into our regular routines as quickly as possible. Consistency, structure, and a little understanding go a long way in helping kids feel settled and ready to learn!
