Hello Burnt River families,
We wanted to let you know that today there was an accident on one of our district school bus routes. The accident happened about 7:30 AM on the Ironside Route, and three students were on the bus, along with the Mid Columbia Bus Company driver.
After the accident, another bus and driver were dispatched to the location. That bus picked up the three students and transported them to the school, where they were evaluated by an emergency responder and the school counselor. All the students were okay and remained at school.
Oregon State Police is investigating the accident, according to standard procedure.
