Congratulations to November's student of the month.
Thank you so much for making attendance a priority! Our attendance was much, much better last week. Ninety two percent of our students were here 100% of the time. We did have quite a few tardies, but all in all, our attendance numbers were much better. This week, we'll have school Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday (dismissed at 12:30). Next week at Burnt River School will be a normal week, with a continued focus on strong attendance and showing up ready to learn. We’re especially excited for Thursday, when our students will travel to Prairie City for our first youth basketball game of the season. Please look at the attached newsletter for more information.

We had such an amazing week! Thank you to everyone that made this week so awesome. We had 70 people attend our Carnival on Wednesday. 70!!! Please note that we will have some activities for Halloween on Thursday, a field trip for K-8 on Monday, Ecosystem Presentations for the Middle School on Wednesday and the Baker Co. Health Department will be here on Wednesday for immunizations if you so desire. You can see the attached newsletter for a complete list and more information. Have an amazing week.

Please see the attached weekly newsletter. Parent-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, October 16. We will dismiss students at 12:30 and have conferences from 12:30 - 4:00. Elementary and Middle School Students will schedule conferences with their teacher, while High School Students are free to come at will. We will celebrate homecoming week the week of October 20. The dress up days are listed in the newsletter. We're excited to bring back some fun traditions. Please plan on joining us for a Pep Night/Family Carnival on Wednesday, October 22. Also, please put Monday, November 10th on your radar. We will have a Veterans Day Celebration at 2:30. Have a wonderful week!

What do you do when some of your favorite teachers are having a baby? You throw a surprise baby shower with food and fun games!!! Congratulations to Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Craig. We cannot wait to spoil these baby boys.
